Wisconsin’s Open Meeting Law (OML) requires governmental bodies to give notice of each meeting of the body to the public. Such notice must be posted in one or more places likely to be seen by the general public. It must give the “time, date, place and subject matter of the meeting, including that intended for consideration at any contemplated closed session”; and it must be given at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting, unless “for good cause” such notice is “impossible or impractical”.
Accordingly, the Spooner Lake Protection & Rehabilitation District (SLD) posts a Meeting Notice & Agenda on the SLD website (www.spoonerlakewi.com) and at the Spooner Town Hall in accordance with OML and SLD Bylaws regulations for all meetings.
The following meeting schedule is for informational purposes only as dates, times and locations are subject to change; however, public notice will be given prior to each meeting as mentioned above with exact times, dates, locations and content.
